Keep something flowering
Different pollinators are active at different times of year, so having flowers available over a long period can make your space more useful. If you can, grow a mixture of plants that flower at different times rather than relying on everything blooming at once.
You don't need a large garden to do this. A few carefully chosen plants in pots, containers or window boxes can extend the flowering season too.
Every flower helps
You don't need to transform your whole outdoor space to help pollinators. A few extra flowers, a safe source of water or an undisturbed nesting place can all make a difference. Start with what works for your space and build from there.
